Awesome Rain Once Again

Monsoon has arrived once again. Its raining all around. Monsoon is there to rejuvenate every living things on the earth. Nature take best care of this lovely planet in this season which we normally miss to do. Nevertheless, its brings a lot of refreshment, fun and romance along with a gentle console over excruciating heat of summer. After every hot day there is a pray for a rainy day. For me, its a season which remains always exciting and I keep on waiting for it all round the year. The music of rainfall gives immense pleasure.

Believe me, in this season  creativity is always there on its peak. You must have came across several poems, songs and beautiful paintings based on this awesome rainy season. I remember the soulful song by the ghazal maestro and the legend Late  Jagjit Singh, Wo Kagaz Ki Kashti, Wo Barish Ka Pani...

Once, Mr Amitabh Bachchan has also quoted, "Jaane kahan gayee wo ameeri hamari, Jab Barish ke pani mein hamaare bhi jahaaz chala kartey the". And, when it comes about the paper boats it really makes me nostalgic and takes me back to the days of childhood. Gone are the days, when we were thrilled just from the name of rain and had a lot of fun during the season.

Film makers in bollywood had greatly cherished the rainy season with their extreme level of imaginations. I am listing below few songs of bollywood which are great examples of an unique combination of hot and wet. I am sure, the steam of this combo will take you away into another world of ecstasy and joy. Who can forget the evergreen song of Aawara filmed on Raj Kapoor and Nargis "Pyaar Hua Iqraar Hua Hai, Pyaar Se Phir Kyun Darta Hai Dil".

Or, a great sensual yet seducing song "Ang Lag Jaa Baalama" in another Raj Kapoor movie "Mera Naam Joker" picturised on Raj Kapoor and Padmini, makes you feel the warmth of the steam coming out of these chilling droplets. Its seducing, its superb, its really very very hot.

"Rimjhim Gire Saawan, Sulag Sulag Jaaye Mann" the lyrics itself describes the romance and sensuousness about the rainy season and its impact. Romantic Amitabh and lovely Mausami featured this song and each word of the song is enough to turn you on and capable to let you feel the shower of lovely droplets on you.

And when it comes to kindle the fire from the squirting rainy drops, Sridevi rules on the hearts while "Kaatey Nahin Katatey Ye Din Ye Raat" in Mr. India. This is the mighty power of rain which ignites the fire of love unanimously.

Finally, I can't stop myself or can't conclude without mentioning the naughty yet romantic yet seducing act of sizzling Smita Patil along with amazing Amitabh Bachchan in Namak Halal while the song "Aaj Rapat Jaayen To Hamein Na Bachaiyo". Several years have gone to these movies and the songs but, whenever a rainy season comes people start humming these melodies spontaneously.

Till now the charm for rains in bollywood is as alive as it was earlier. Still, rain songs are there in hindi movies and leaves the same impact. So, what's there in your mind. Which song are you humming now? Are you also getting naughty now?

Indian Rail: Ideal platform for unlawful deeds

Continued.....from previous post
Indian Rail: Travel to heaven or to hell.....................

Eventually, from the beginning of my life I had this opportunity to be around a railway station and it gave an opportunity to understand the lifestyle of nearby population. The biggest community dwelling besides a railway station is of beggars, as they look alike. But, are all of them beggars really? perhaps not. It is noticed quite often that there is a syndicate active around the railway stations in the semblance of a beggar and actually they are active with various other unlawful deeds like selling drugs and other intoxicating materials, theft, pic-pocket and even prostitution.

Children Begging in Train

A professionally managed chain of pickpocket remains active with its very strong and stable network inside the railway area. Most of the time they are looking like a beggar or a pity trader of toxic commodities. Even, they may appear with some other faces also like your co-passenger or a coolie or any vendor. Because, at many railway stations coolies or vendors do not wear their assigned uniform also. Thus, it is difficult to recognize whether they are licensed coolies or vendors?

Unauthorized Vendors Selling Food Items in Train

A young girl begging in a train or at a railway station or a lady holding a kid on her hip and begging is not always like it as it appears. They are really beggars it cannot be claimed with confidence. Many times it is reported that these ladies are involved in theft, snatching or many other nasty activities. Many times these are not their own kids it is witnessed that different ladies holding the same kids at different times. Basically, they work in shifts and are a part of the network for which they work. However, it has always been a mystery that how and why the main culprit behind the curtain remains unnoticed.

Lady with a Baby Begging in Train

One must have seen warning posters "Beware of Pic-pocket" or "Beware of intoxicating gangs". It means that railway administration is also aware about these activities. But, surprisingly nothing has been done as a corrective measure. Can anyone agree that posting some posters of beware are enough for the safety of passengers? It is even surprising that at many major railway stations in the name of security, passengers are allowed to enter the railway platform after crossing a metal detector and a vigorous security check. Then how these beggars or even so many unauthorized vendors do get their entry to the railway premises.

Who is not aware about the persecution of Eunuchs (The Hizda Gang) inside the train and railway premises. They are always found everywhere anywhere at a railway station or in a train snatching money forcefully from the innocent migrant passengers. Sometimes, their activities are so nasty and dreadful that paying to them seems only way to get rid of them. Normally it is understood that no action may been taken against these eunuch gangs. May god save from being victim of these gangs. Here also is a great mystery. Personally, I know a few those who are not the eunuchs, but have adopted the guise like an eunuch and have taken it as a profession since, its lucrative enough.

Eunuchs in Train

Children, running and roaming around the railway stations and inside the train also selling tobacco products are quite commonly seen inside the trains as well as the railway premises almost around every railway stations in India. Another, new trend has been emerged quite rapidly inside the train or entire railway premises everyone must have noticed children collecting used empty bottles of water. they collect the empty bottles and it is refilled with normal yet unhygienic water and being sold to the passengers. Sometimes, you may see a child sweeping the compartment and begging or collecting waste water bottles.

Child begging in Train

It is well known fact that children begging or involved in all such unlawful activities are not doing it at their own choice, rather they are compelled to do so. Many of them are kidnapped and are forced to work as per willingness of the master of the gang. So, practically we come across the SLUM DOGS only but the real millionaires are always out of reach . Worst part of the story is that this entire activity is closely witnessed by the rail authorities and police and the government. But, none has taken any initiative to make any significant solution for the same.

It is true that the destiny of these poor children is playing cruel with them. But, what we are doing? What the Government is doing? Any answer???
