Jharkhand State : A Political Laboratory

The political dilemma of JHARKHAND has over and  Hemant Soren has sworn in as Chief Minister of the state. It was a long run drama in the political circle which fed well to the news hungry news channels. Everyone, busy in making a prediction whether Hemant will be able to prove his majority? How the majority will be managed? Who will be the partners? What shall be the life and fate of this government? But, nobody talked about the status of state. What's happening to the development of the state? What,s happening with the future of youth of the state? What's happening with the poor people who are victim of this political wrestling every now and then? And, the most irritating question that in such insecure and volatile political situation who should be held responsible for playing with the state's poor voters and their expectations with a government?

It was 15th November 2000 when JHARKHAND was declared a New State separated from Bihar. No one had a thought then that it will be converted as a political laboratory... It has not completed even 13 years of its inception and this time Hemant Soren has sworn as 9th Chief Minister of the state. Meanwhile, there was president rule also there in the state for twice...It could be better understood with the chart given below the tenure of the Chief Ministers of the state.

List of Chief Ministers of Jharkhand

The longest duration of a government in the state is 860 days. Till now none of the Chief Minister has been able to complete his term. In the situation stated above a question comes to the mind quite suddenly that what exactly is the benefit of making JHARKHAND a separate state. Has it gone for any benefit of the people or it was an arrangement made by the political parties for feeding their hunger of power? At a glance it is only proved that the political parties are doing all their exercises to make sure that by this way or that how to be in the power and how to avail benefits associated with it?

Every time when there is shift of power the main loser is the innocent public who sends these politicians to the assembly after electing them. But, have these parties been able ever to take care of the issues of the state and the poor people those who elect them. Entire time, energy and the resources for development is consumed in managing the tenure and the power. It is a big question now that why there was a big hue and cry for making JHARKHAND  a separate state? Who had given this right to these politicians of the monkey sharing of the expectations of poor voters?

Is it an obvious doubt that whether there is a fix among all these politicians? Where they had a deal to share the power at a pre decided intervals. They will perform the scams as per their wish and potential and no one shall be held responsible or convicted. Another, chance shall be given to every one as an honest game rule. Or, in fact the state has converted into a political laboratory where one has to wait for the final results of the experiments being carried out since last 13 years.....
