It seems that IRCTC has taken a serious note about the anguish of passengers willing to book an e-ticket during TATKAL hours of booking. A common problem was experienced that the website was either not opening properly during TATKAL hours or it was running so slow that booking of an e-ticket was almost a nightmare during the period. Though there were different school of thoughts regarding the problem. Some has stated it "as the website of IRCTC was so heavy that it experienced difficulty in functioning during busy hours like TATKAL due to excessive rush of users." Whereas some had an opinion that the "website was being hacked by the travel agents or brokers." What so ever was the reason but, it has been resulting in a duress and agony for the passengers those who had a plan of travel in a shorter notice. Astonishingly, there was no such visible expedient from IRCTC to offer any relief to the passengers.

It has appeared as a pleasant surprise from IRCTC that they have launched a lightweight version of their website for booking of an e-ticket during TATKAL hours. It is really pleasant to see that IRCTC has tried to show their concern about the duress of their passengers who had to suffer a lot due to this problem. Use of this website is also very simple. As you'll type www.irctc.co.in in the address bar during TATKAL hour it automatically takes you to the login page of the new website.

Immediately, after login with your id you are automatically migrated to the next generation e-Ticketing website. Here, you'll get options for print/cancel/file TDR for earlier transactions you've made or you can opt for proceeding for a fresh new booking.

Indian Railway Aiming World-Class Experience of Journey

A successful trial of high speed semi bullet train was performed today between Delhi to Agra. It gives an impression at a first glance that Indian Railway is now planning very seriously to break the image of  its orthodox stereotype trains running with a dependability upon the mercy and blessings of situation and available resources. It also seems that the Indian Government is determined now to  march step by step in the tune of achievement of World Class Status so far Indian Railway is concerned and this trial of today should be taken as a first step in the pursuit for excellence.

Green Signal to the High Speed Train

Trial of this train was quite successful. The train completed this 200 Km journey in just 90 minutes. It could be claimed as a big achievement when it comes to expect speed of an Indian Train. However, so many technical trials are yet to be performed but. the Indian Railway is quite optimistic to launch a commercial run of this high speed train by November 2014.

Live In Or Marriage Or...?

A time immemorial trend in India is, trending with the trend. Remember, the trend when it was a a routine matter of debate 'Which is better Love Marriage or Arrange Marriage'? Prior to that there was another trend too 'To Marry or To Not Marry at all' which still is in practice and perhaps this 'LIVE IN RELATIONSHIP' is being advocated or accepted mostly by those class of people who earlier were finding it comfortable to stay alone or to not marry at all. Somehow, it has emerged as a really trending option which almost has received a social approval now a days. 

Before dealing with the issue it seems quite essential to understand whether any more option is also available to choose from? No...Because no such option is in trend!!! Basically, it is more important to understand what exactly is the purpose behind any relationship? What's the need or expectation behind accepting to spend the life together? One can not bluntly advocate or suggest that which format of relationship is ideal since, every format has its own limitations and advantages. Opting for Live In Relationship, or Marriage or following any other format does not make any difference if the selection of life partner is wise and correct. While giving a serious thought on the incidences of failure of any relationship it is evident quite often that the initial decision of being together was either an immature decision or it was based upon some impractical expectations.       

This is not a matter of solicitation also. The Natural strength of any good relationship is dependent upon the rationality and genuineness of the expectations from each other, adaptability and sacrifices, and more importantly being complimentary for each other without having any lustful craving or cupidity.  Examples of success and failure are there for all such formats so, instead of following of any trend it would be more wise to consider to spend a bit of more time in order to ensure that - 

Yes! this is that very person with whom I may spend rest of my life...

It is a very serious and rational question for any relationship, that what is more important in making a long lasting and healthy relationship A Social legal bonding or a moral bonding or it is both? Nevertheless, instead of searching the seeds of happiness and love in a format like Live In or Marriage or Any other else...  

It is better to search and find it within the inner heart of thyself...

Have anyone ever came across an advertisement in any matrimony site or column stating that "seeking a virgin bride with intact hymen"? Perhaps! never ever! Why? Because, it is rubbish and ridiculous. A K 49 : Agent Of Pakistan?

It is just 30 days before when there was a post in this blog A K 49 : Power of a Common Man. where there was a mild yet blinking ray of hope as well as a message about the unpredictable and unconventional moves of AK which may potentially change the face of Indian politics. Meanwhile, a lot has happened which were enough to compel to re-think about the sanctity and dignity of AK and AAP.  

Whether it was a matter of ticket distributions of candidates or leaking of a sting video of his interview to a television channel which apparently looked alike a fixed interview has enough potential to make one re-consider about the moral and ethics of AK and AAP. However, it is too early to make a conclusion as if this entire episodes depicts failure of AK or its another strategy of AK to divert the attention of media.  

During recent days a new perception has came into existence which spells it otherwise, as if AK is targeting BJP and Narendra Modi more, than Congress and Rahul Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi. It caused serious itch and irritation to BJP and their leaders. Hence, in order to give an appropriate defiance to AK, Narendra Modi the BJP candidate for PM has chosen the same name as first time named in this blog only i.e. A K 49. But, this time its different than the previous. Its not A K 49 : Power of a Common Man rather, Its A K 49 : Agent of Pakistan?  

Now, its time to leave it upon the wisdom of India, what exactly is the perception about AK. It is A K 49 : Power of a Common Man or A K 49 : Agent of Pakistan?

A K 49 : Power of a Common Man

India has witnessed a great political renovation in the name of AAM AADMI PARTY led by Arvind Kejriwal (A K), who had been able to belie all political speculations and grabbed 28 seats of Delhi Assembly during the last assembly elections. A K defeated Shiela Dixit with a historic margin of votes. Shiela Dixit was a ruling Chief Minister of Delhi since last 15 years. Whereas, A K was a new chum, who had entered into politics just two years back after shoving away a promising career as an IRS. A K sworn as Chief Minister of Delhi as a great surprise and nightmare to the political corridor. Media was astonished and forced to be engaged in decoding the denotations of this political metamorphosis. Psephologists and political gurus were stunned, politicians were speechless and the common men were confounded by experiencing their own strength. It compelled all political parties to re-plan and re-master their strategies. It was a result of their re-mastered strategy only that paved the way to form a government at DELHI in the leadership of A K. In fact, it was Congress Party who tried to make AAM AADMI PARTY a scapegoat, anticipating that A K won't be able to keep the promises he made with the citizens of DELHI, and will be exposed as a betrayer. Almost, the same opinion had the BJP also. Though, Congress offered an unconditional support to the government. However, the cunning intentions behind it couldn't be masked.       

Nevertheless, A K emerged as a superhero on the horizon of Indian politics. A new, yet unbelievable chapter in the history was written.  Perhaps, it was the first time in the history of Indian democracy, when the common (Non - political) men were able to defeat those leaders who were established names in politics. A K responded quite humbly and defined it as the power of a common man.

A K started his explosive inning with his unexpected and unpredictable moves and made several announcements in order to keep his promises made in his election manifesto. Some of the remarkable benchmarks of A K's A A P govt. are worth mentioning here which made his opponents sleepless and speechless. 

1.   700 liter free water announced for those having regular water connection.

2.   50% subsidy on electricity for those having consumption up to 400 units.

3.   Helpline to report power cuts.

4.   Anti-corruption helpline launched.

5.   Nursery admission helpline announced.

6.   Infrastructure audit of govt. schools started.

7.   Promised quota for Delhi students in DU.

8.   Misuse of red beacons banned.

9.   All the govt. and private hospitals directed to provide "Free & Immediate" treatment to the        victims of acid attacks or rape.

10. Abandoned buses to be used as night shelters for homeless in Delhi. A novel A K idea.

11. Launched a website to manage public utility complaints "www.aapconnect.com"

The journey was not so smooth, as the growing challenges kept on chasing A K day to day. He was not a practicing politician but, his practices in politics were quite unpredictable and beyond comprehension for almost all practicing politicians, psephologists and media as well. On all such moves of A K when media and other political parties were busy in satirizing him, A K was busy in concocting another new interpretation of politics. It was never expected that a Chief Minister may sit on Dharna, that too in his own state. A K did so, people called him anarchist whether, he was able to prove that the law and order at Delhi is not under control of Delhi Government. Rather, it is Central Government who is responsible for any such performances of Delhi Police.

Issues raised by A K are daring and provocative. They are pragmatic about the established current political system. There may be difference of opinion among intellectuals about the action and approach  of A K how he executes or deals with the issue. But, his commitment towards the sanctity of Indian politics is quite ponderable. It's not just an escape as the opposition is saying on tendering his resignation after being failed to table the "Jan Lokpal Bill" in the assembly. Though the Government was carried for 49 days only. But, those are the solemn and historic "A K 49" days of Indian politics. They are alarming "A K 49" days of Indian politics too. Every day, in those  precious "A K 49" days there was a message for everyone.
