Awesome Rain Once Again: Some Healthy Tips

Whenever its rain, it's truly difficult for me to stop myself. So, this is a post immediately after my first post about the rain. As I believe that rains are there for the adornment of nature. Somehow, its a process of personal care which nature does herself periodically. Immediately, after one or two rainy episodes there is greenery everywhere and the waste dirty materials are taken away with the flow of water. It seems that the nature has completed her beautification to attract all those who love it.

But, sometimes in some places there is a problem with drainage system and it causes severe crisis. There is a great threat to health and hygiene during this season due to this inconvenience. In this situation it becomes quite essential to take utmost care in order to avoid and to prevent from the sudden assault of most common waterborne diseases. Here are few tips which might be quite helpful in prevention of such unhealthy conditions.

So, be prepared as it is said s prevention is better than cure. It is better to arm yourself as soon there is a hint of the season. Please check and ensure that you have enough umbrellas, raincoats and gumboots and see to it that everything is in order and does not requires any repair or replacement. Since, you never know when you are going to need them. In case you require to to be attired with some latest and stylish in tune of the most modern fashion, then also plenty of new arrivals in stores waiting for you to etract your wallet.

Even, with all such precautions if you are caught in the rain, then immediately after coming back to home, it is advisable to have a fresh bath and wipe up yourself with a clean cotton towel completely. Avoid moisture from your body as there are chances to develop fungal infection which is most common these days. Keep yourself as well as your home well sanitized. You should check it properly that your clothes are not moist before putting it on. It may cause skin infections like rashes and eruptions which are the most unpleasant and irritating conditions you know.

Please make sure that food is cooked well before eating. Consume plenty of water and avoid eating raw foods like salads. Street foods must be avoided even if you are tempted the most for it. Waterborne diseases like diarrhea, dysentery or gastritis are quite common during this season. To avoid such conditions, always take a moderately hot or warm food and drinks during the season. Plenty of hot drinks like tea or coffee are best this time. Especially, if it is a holy basil tea, its a wonderful remedy to keep you free from many infections as well. Must include ginger and garlic as a regular spice in your food as both are having unique medicinal benefits.

Taking care of your children this season is quite important since, they tend to run and play in water and are caught of several health problems like cough, cold and fever. Improper cleaning of their hands and feet may also create some health issues to them. So, taking a sincere care is essential. You may keep few packs of ORS available at your home in order to being ready for some adverse diarrheal conditions.

The biggest and most common health threatening conditions in this season are hosted by various species of mosquitoes and insects who grow tremendously in this season. Diseases like Malaria, Dengue and Chickengunya are quite common this season. As you are aware that the mosquitoes grow on logged water very rapidly. Better, you make some provisions to avoid water logging or if it is unavoidable then you must spray some bleaching power and kerosine oil on the logged water. It helps to prevent growth of mosquitoes and insects. Taking a prophylactic dose of anti-malarials may also be a good option. In addition to it you should use a powerful anti mosquito repellant to keep your house free from mosquitoes and insects. Always remember "Ek Machchhar Bhi Dangerous Hai." or you may remember the famous Nana Patekar dialogue "Ek Machchhar Aadmi Ko........." So...Always Take Care of yourself.

Still, with all odds as I consider this is a wonderful season which makes you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Yes, some precautions may be required to let you enjoy the best of this season. May you cherish the enlivening shower of nature accompanied with an igniting love and romance.
